Compared to common failures of sizing machines, sizing machines have the lowest failure rate and are relatively easy to handle. There are several types of common production accidents in sizing machines:

1. Scratches

Scratches on sizing mainly occur on both sides of the transverse and longitudinal axes of the pipe section, often caused by the edges of the flat and vertical roller holes. Especially after sharpening the R-corner of the hole edge, any of the following problems may cause scratches.

2. Drilling pipes

The problem of drilling pipes is not common, and it is more likely to occur during the production of thin-walled pipes. This is mainly because the rigidity of thin-walled pipes is poor, and the thin wall of the pipe is easily bitten by the rolling mill.

There are generally three types of pipe shapes: elliptical, angular, and gourd shaped.
